Nut, Lock

Lock Nuts include a nylon insert and are available in sizes ranging from: 1/4″-20 to 3/4″-10, and are finished in Zinc plating, Yellow Zinc plating, Stainless Steel (Type 304), Type 316 Stainless and Treated Lumber Coating.  Nuts are sized by the fastener they fit. For example, a 1/4 inch nut fits a 1/4 inch bolt. Thread density must also match.

Type 316 Stainless is Marine Grade quality.

Treated Lumber Coating is a 1000+ hour coating approved for outdoor use with ACQ treated lumber.

A lock nut is a specialized type of nut that adds extra resistance to loosening compared to a standard nut. It does this through built‑in features such as Nylon inserts that grip bolt threads and create friction.
