Hex Power Bit

Hex Power Bit is a steel power bit that is compatible with 1/4″ Wafer Head Chair Bolts and Lags.

A steel power bit is used to drive stainless steel wafer‑head chair bolts and lags into wood, poly, or composite materials, providing strong, vibration‑resistant fastening for outdoor and high‑use furniture.

Purpose and Function

Chair bolts and chair lags are heavy‑duty fasteners designed to join chair legs, frames, and other structural components. They are typically made from stainless steel (e.g., 304 or 316 grade) for corrosion resistance, with a 1/4″ diameter and 20 threads per inch.  The steel power bit (often a hex power bit) is the tool that drives these bolts into place, delivering the torque needed to secure them firmly.
