16 Gauge Medium Crown EG Staples are Electro-Galvanized and are available in:

• 1/2″ to fit Bostitch and more staplers. Lengths range from 3/4″ to 2″.
• 7/16″ size to fit Hitachi, Senco and more staplers. Lengths range from 5/8″ to 2″.

Staples are sold by the box and there are 10 boxes per case. Box quantities may vary.

Uses of Medium Crown Staples

Medium crown staples are U‑shaped fasteners with a crown width of about 7/16 inch (11 mm) to 1/2 inch (12.7 mm), offering a balance between surface coverage and holding strength. This makes them more versatile than narrow crown staples, which are smaller and less visible, but less extreme than wide crown staples, which maximize holding power. Common applications can include underlayment and wrap installations, sub-flooring, fencing, general carpentry and construction.

Why choose medium crown staples?
They provide better surface contact and holding strength than narrow crown staples, making them ideal for projects where both durability and some visibilities are acceptable.
